Welcome to AI ππ© BINGO! This is a small intervention for panels, keynotes and workshops on Artificial Intelligence (AI). It can be used at any tech conference to have some fun and analyse the conversations. Rather than blame or bash, we want to ask what is visible in the debate and what remains unseen.
How to:
Save or screenshot the AI ππ© BINGO cards below, each time a speaker uses a word or a situation occurs for the first time, draw on your image to mark the square on your Bingo card. Once youβve marked 5 consecutive squares, shout BINGO. If youβre the first to shout, youβve won the game! Donβt forget to share your game on social media using the hashtag #aibullshitbingo.
With AI ππ© BINGO, we want toβ¦
β¦ show what is hyper-visible, and bring attention to what remains unseen
β¦ question the systems of belief in AI debates
β¦ approach AI playfully and humorously
β¦ ask critically which ways of imagination these words and phrases open up βand which possibilities they close down
β¦ spot the magic words that shape a debate
β¦ demonstrate how conversations on AI can be repetitive, and repetitive, and repetitiveβ¦
β¦ and obviously have fun!
